Riverfront Pavilion Receives Honorable Mention at Seattle AIA Honor Awards, 2021

The Riverfront Pavilion was recognized with an Honorable Mention at the Seattle AIA Honor Awards, 2021. This is especially important to us as the jury’s focus was on projects that inspire and enrich their communities while having a positive impact on the environment. Two things things that drive or design intent. The Pavilion stood out to the jurors for the tactical removal of layers of previous interventions to reveal a project in its truest form.

Riverfront was one of 16 projects to receive recognition out of 106 submittals. Congrats to the other award winners and the Pavilion design team including NAC Architecture who developed the beautiful light blades that float among the cables of the Pavilion. A special thanks to Spokane Parks and Recreation for being supportive and innovative clients.
