Katie Bang opened the eyes and hearts of preschoolers during Kent’s Montessori Plus School career day where she explained what landscape architecture is and how it benefits us all. She briefly explained to the 2.5- to 6-year-old students how our profession combines art and science to create functional landscapes. The students then partook in an activity where they painted their very own birdhouses, each adorned with a green roof. Thank you to Etera for supplying the vegetated mats!
