Eastrail Wilburton Framework Plan
Bellevue, WA
The Eastrail corridor stretches from Renton to Woodinville, passing through Bellevue’s Wilburton neighborhood at its most dense and urban stretch. Berger led the planning with King County and the City of Bellevue for the Eastrail Wilburton Framework Plan. The plan focused on creating a vibrant, majestic corridor that is a catalyst for the neighborhood and city. Planning also included how Eastrail and the citywide Grand Connection would connect and build from one another. The design shapes the corridor’s functionality, as well as an entire emerging high-density neighborhood’s character, experience, and culture with a new “green spine” as its catalyst.
