This former King County Park, acquired by the city in 1999, serves as a neighborhood park for the local community with 3 little league fields, a soccer field, play area and picnic shelter. The Berger Partnership was hired to complete a master plan to determine what additional park activities could be accommodated on site. The Sammamish City Council requested that an off-leash dog area and spray park be considered on this 19-acre parcel surrounded by an environmentally sensitive forested buffer. The master plan process includes facilitating 4 public meetings, and generating alternative concepts that were paired down to a preferred plan and report.
