Formerly known as the Sunshine Project, The Russell Family Foundation Headquarters includes private employee terraces, a front entry water feature that spills into a reflecting pool, public plazas and a roof top garden. The various tiers of gardens celebrate rainwater and the waterfront location of the building. Before construction, pre-existing street trees and perimeter trees were carefully moved to an off-site storage location and replanted a year later. The Berger Partnership served as the local landscape architect in collaboration with Cornelia Oberlander. This project is LEED Certified.
