Jonathan Morley

Principal, Landscape Architect, LEED® AP

Raised and educated in New England, Jonathan ventured west to Seattle in 1993. After designing neighborhood parks and progressive play environments for a few years, he joined The Berger Partnership in 1998. He works to creatively incorporate sustainability into an array of project types; he strives to create places that have meaning, a public audience for interpretation, and provide opportunities for education. Some ongoing and recently completed projects include Cal Anderson Park, Union Bay Gardens Master Plan Update, One Union Square, Whidbey Island Center for the Artsoff-site link, Stewart Street Hoteloff-site link, Port Gardner Wharfoff-site link and the GHC SMArt Building. Jonathan is a CAPAoff-site link Board Member and recently served on a public artist selection jury for the Office of Arts and Cultural Affairsoff-site link.

Jonathan fills his free time snowboarding, hiking, biking, or kayaking around the Northwest from his home base on Bainbridge Island.
